 griffons in Spain & italy

gitana

Gitana is 5 years old (DOB 12/7/2020).

An impressive griffon dog surrendered by a hunter along with her daughter because she's no longer suitable for hunting.
She's a dog with a stunning physique and a wonderful temperament.

She's sociable with other dogs and lives in a kennel with her daughter, Pedresa, and another dog.

She's somewhat possessive with her food, but she's learning to share and now lets her companion eat from her bowl.

She's adorable with people, eager to give and receive affection. She stays by your side and comes when called. She arrived with some fears, which she's gradually overcoming, becoming much more trusting and affectionate with people. She's very obedient when called and is learning to enjoy the enclosure and play with her kennel companions.

pedresa

*** Coming to UK Foster in July 2026 ***

Pedresa is 2 years old (DOB 31/12/2023)

Pedresa is a spectacular large Griffon, given up by a hunter because she's no longer suitable for hunting.

She's quite shy if she doesn't know people, but she's gradually changing and no longer avoids human contact.

She's sociable with other dogs and lives in a kennel with her mother (Gitana) and another dog, although she has to eat separately because she doesn't like to share her food.

Her previous owner used to fed both she and her mother human leftovers, so it's taking a long time to get them used to dry food, which is why I mix it with rice or wet food.

Pernales is very strong and powerful, impressive and loving. He is very obedient with people and not shy, he is a very good dog.
Pernales will need someone strong to manage him on the lead, he is not used to a lead either so some patience, strength and training will be needed.

Pernales Update (6/5/2026): Pernales likes the car, he can get in alone. On walks, he does not pull all the time but only if something gets his attention then he is strong. A loving, obedient big puppy. He's like a giant teddy bear.

wisky

This girl is Wisky, she's around 6 and according to the vet she's a mix between a griffon and a boxer and she needs a forever home.

Wisky is amazingly sociable with people. She probably had a deficient diet all her life and the poor girl lacks a lot of teeth.

Wisky “tolerates” dogs but she's not a fan. If she can choose, she prefers male rather than female dogs. Maybe a home as an only dog or a male dog as a companion would be better.

senna

This handsome boy is Senna, he's about 2 years old and he needs a forever home.

Senna is very good with other doggies, in fact he needs a home with at least one balanced dog. He's shy and nervous at first when he meets new people, he freezes and stays still. He's a lovely chap once he trusts.

Senna is quite good on the lead but the adopter needs to be extra careful as he's scared of noises and sudden movements and could escape.

Senna is scared of cats probably because they are new to him. He's quite good travelling in a car.

Senna is in Italy and he can be adopted in UK.

godello

This handsome chap is Godello. He’s 3 year old approx and he needs a home.

Godello is good with other doggies although he needs to be fed separate as he’s food possessive towards other doggies.

Godello is sociable with people once he trusts, he’s a bit scared of strangers.  He walks a bit funny and the vet said it was a problem in his hip. He’s not in pain but he needs some weight control and once he grows older, he will probably need more relaxed walks as it can worsen with age.

Godello is in Spain and we arrange everything for him to travel to UK once an adoption appears.

tim

This handsome and gentle soul is Tim. Tim dob 16/01/22. He’s been fostered for more than a year and he is now ready to be adopted.

Tim arrived totally petrified and scared of everything. He is a very young dog and we do not know if he was mistreated or maybe not socialized, so Tim needs a super special and generous family.

Tim has been working with a behaviourist to allow humans to touch him. He has improved tons but he still runs away if he doesn’t know someone. We think that living in a home will help him progress faster. Tim has never walked on the lead so he will need a bit of work on that department too.

Tim is the most gentle, noble and submissive soul one can meet. He is scared and insecure but he has never ever had a bad word or shown any aggression towards any being.

Tim loves other dogs, he loves playing, running, sleeping with them, he’s super dog friendly. So a home with at least another young, balanced, friendly, playful doggie is a must. We believe kids are not a good idea right now as he’s too scared to tolerate the stress of living with little children.

With patience, time, love and routines, Tim will show his loving character and he will be an amazing addition to the family. Please if you are an experienced person, and you want to help this little chap, contact me. He’s in Spain & we arrange everything for him to travel to UK once an adoption appears.

grace

This sweetheart is Grace. Her dob is 01/01/2021, 48cm long and 33cm tall.

Grace is a special case and she needs a special home. Grace is petrified, scared stiff, god knows what she has been through.

Grace is not used to living in a home environment so she will need time and tons of patience to learn what a house is, what a sofa is, what a tv is.

Grace needs to learn to walk on lead once she trusts. She likes other doggies so maybe a home with others would be advisable as she may copy them and thrive. We don't know how she is with cats.

clint

This happy but mega scared boy is Clint. He's one of our hoarding dogs rescued many months ago. He's now quite ready to be adopted.

Clint dob estimated 01/ 08/ 2020 and he needs a special home. Clint is a special doggie because of his life circumstances so he needs a special family too.

Clint is super super scared of every single thing, he did not trust people at all. However, he has walked a long way to arrive here and he begins to trust now once he sees people won't be a threat.

Clint needs a family with time, patience and experience who will work with him all the time he needs. He's good with other dogs, in fact a balanced dog would be a good companion to him. A home without little kids is the best at this point in time as he's not ready to face this type of stress.
