This handsome boy is Rufus & he is a Grand Griffon Vendeen. Dob 01/06/2020, he is in the shelter after being released from the pound where he spent 3 years.
Rufus was probably not good for hunting so that’s how he probably ended in the pound.
Rufus is sociable with other dogs but he’s also very independent so he won’t have problems if he lives as an only doggie.
Rufus is very sociable with people, he is good with kids too, he is not scared of strangers, he’s not shy, he is a balanced doggie. He loves walks but he also likes his moments of relax and peace.

Charlie is a Griffon Bleu de Gascogne.
He is approximately 5 years old. He weighs 23kgs, is 55cm paw to back and 88cm long from nose to base of tail.
He is interested in the wild cats but shows no aggression. We are unsure how react to a cat in the home / a running cat.
Charlie lives with a male and a female dog. They are fed separately as Charlie will let them eat his food.
Charlie will be best with another dog or a family who are around and he is not left on his own for too long.
He is good either way the children he has met (ages 8 and 15).
Charlie is a loving, friendly and active boy who loves to be around people. He needs some help building his confidence.
Charlie learns quickly and is praise orientated charlie can be vocal at times but he is quiet in the kennel.

We don't know where he came from or what happened to him, but due to extreme neglect, he has lost one eye and is recovering from a severe skin infection and malnutrition.
Upon arriving to the pound, he could barely move. He was terribly terribly thin, a big part of his skin was covered in 1cm layer of flies larvae, and his eye had a severe hit.
Phoenix is only a pupster. He has a long life ahead of him and he has found the strength to carry on now he is receiving vet treatment at the pound.
His skin infection has pretty much cleared and new healthy skin is growing back, his eye has been removed, and he is gaining weight slowly.

This is Julio and he is 7 years old. He has been tied to a 6kg chain all his life until now.
Local authorities were called when Julio's owner died a couple of months ago. They found him tied to an extremely heavy metal chain, his head covered with a big skin tumour which has been removed and is benign.
It is truly incredible that Julio is the happiest of souls in spite of all. His story is truly heartbreaking, one of pure neglect and abuse.
Julio is even in a better place now, at the pound... living in a concrete kennel. The poor lad is so happy to be free from the metal chain, and to be free of discomfort from the tumour.

This handsome and gentle soul is Tim. Tim dob 16/01/22. He’s been fostered for more than a year and he is now ready to be adopted.
Tim arrived totally petrified and scared of everything. He is a very young dog and we do not know if he was mistreated or maybe not socialized, so Tim needs a super special and generous family.
Tim has been working with a behaviourist to allow humans to touch him. He has improved tons but he still runs away if he doesn’t know someone. We think that living in a home will help him progress faster. Tim has never walked on the lead so he will need a bit of work on that department too.
Tim is the most gentle, noble and submissive soul one can meet. He is scared and insecure but he has never ever had a bad word or shown any aggression towards any being.
Tim loves other dogs, he loves playing, running, sleeping with them, he’s super dog friendly. So a home with at least another young, balanced, friendly, playful doggie is a must. We believe kids are not a good idea right now as he’s too scared to tolerate the stress of living with little children.
With patience, time, love and routines, Tim will show his loving character and he will be an amazing addition to the family. Toby is a 5 year old griffon / beagle mix boy. He weighs approximately 16kgs and is learning to walk on the lead.
He’s a good boy and lives with male and female dogs. If a dominant male picks on him, he does not fight back so would be best with neutral or submissive dogs in the home.
Toby is okay with children and is praise and food orientated. He is a loving, playful and really silly boy. Staff at the shelter say is is ‘super bueno’.

This happy but mega scared boy is Clint. He's one of our hoarding dogs rescued many months ago. He's now quite ready to be adopted.
